Privacy

This site has no accounts, no advertising and no third-party analytics. It stores two things: what you type into the scan request form, and our own measurements of how the page is used.
What we collect
When you request a scan we store your brand’s website address, the email address you give us, any note you add, and — for abuse prevention only — the IP address and browser user agent the request came from.
What we do with it
We use it to run the scan you asked for and to email you the result. We do not sell it, we do not share it with anyone else, and we will not add you to a mailing list. If you would rather we deleted it, reply to the email we send you and we will.
What we look at
A scan looks at publicly available information: public web pages, public domain registration records, and public search results. We do not attempt to access anything private, and we do not place orders.
Cookies and analytics
We measure how this site is used, with our own analytics on our own servers. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracker of any kind, so nothing about your visit is shared with another company.
Two first-party cookies make that possible: lb_vid, a random visitor identifier kept for about two years, and lb_sid, a random session identifier kept for 30 minutes. Neither contains anything about you, and neither is readable by JavaScript.
Alongside those we record which pages and sections you reached, how far down a page you scrolled, which buttons you pressed, where you arrived from, your IP address, an approximate location derived from it, and your browser user agent. We use it to work out which parts of this page are worth keeping.
Retention
Scan requests are kept while we are working on them and for as long as monitoring is running for that brand. Ask us and we will remove yours.
